This is Rent For The Holidays Staff Visit Review We only have great things to say about our stay at Plessis. There is something about well-run chateaus that strikes you from the time you cross the entry gate. We had that feeling from the first minute and it lasted throughout the visit. We always make a point to provide an objective review, with naming at least one imperfection during our stay but in case of this property it is extremely difficult. The hot tub was not filled but with hot weather and comfortably warm swimming pool we hardly noticed that. Beyond that it was all positive: the house, the garden the pool and definitely the area with gentle hills, forests and rivers and only minutes to shopping in Chateau Gauthier. Not many chateaus have extensive parks and forest-like trails and Plessis is fortunate to have two amazing gardens AND a castle forest. The part of the visit that stands out the most would be the originality of interiors that were kept unchanged for at least a century. Original furniture, tapestries, bookshelves, home decor and paintings gave us an amazing trip back in time. All this was topped by the genuine warmth and hospitality of the owners who are truly exited to interact with their guests
