About this vacation property in Jamaica, Vermont

Our four guest rooms (Stratton Mountain, Magic Mountain, Bromley Mountain, Mount Snow) are very reasonably priced with rates between $89 and $115* per night (based on double occupancy), and additional discounts may be given. The rooms, each with its own private entrance and bathroom, are clean, and simply and tastefully decorated with comfortable European-style bedding. Each guest room has complimentary WiFi access (must bring own laptop) and cable TV with DVD/VHS players (selection of over 200 movies).

Our philosophy is down-to-earth and easy-going; we want our guests to feel relaxed, comfortable and at home. For guests with prior reservations, a breakfast is arranged every morning in the common room, where guests can help themselves to freshly brewed coffee or tea, orange juice, hot and cold cereals, granola, and other breakfast items. We encourage our guests to make use of the small refrigerator, microwave, glassware & dishes conveniently located in our common room for light and pre-prepared meals. The common room is a place where friends can visit in the evening to enjoy a glass of wine, surf the internet, read about the region, or play board games. When weather permits we strongly encourage guests to enjoy the patio in the brook/pond area and in the evening use our outdoor BBQ to grill their favorite food items. Guests are welcome to sit around the campfire and enjoy the star-filled sky and soak in the wonderful evenings and peaceful sounds of nature.

    About the area of Jamaica

We are conveniently located on VT Route 30/100 in the Green Mountains of southern Vermont, midway between the towns of Brattleboro and Manchester and four miles north of the village of Jamaica. The Stone Boat Farm’s close proximity to the Green Mountain National Forest, Appalachian (Long) Trail, the West and Battenkill rivers as well as numerous lakes and ponds provide the outdoor enthusiast with a myriad of summer and winter activities, ranging from hiking, mountain biking, and kayaking to snowshoeing and skiing. Nearby ski areas (the Stratton Mountain Resort is only 7 minutes away) offer New England's finest downhill skiing experience. Hikers, bicyclists, snowshoers and cross-country skiers will find an ample selection of trails along rivers and lakes with breath-taking views of mountain panoramas. Cross-country skiers will love the well-groomed trails at Wild Wings, Grafton Ponds and the Viking Nordic Ski centers, or the un-groomed trails in the nearby National Forest. As active outdoor enthusiasts, we take pride in sharing our knowledge of the local trail system, area activities, and nearby, affordable sports equipment rentals with our guests to optimize their stay.
