House Swap Terms and Conditions

As a participant in the RFTH House Swap program you agree and are subject to the RFTH Terms and Conditions of Use as well as the following House Swap Terms and Conditions. The House Swap Terms and Conditions may be amended in any way at any time without notice to Members and are effective immediately upon amendment. It is the responsibility of Members to keep updated on the most current publication of these terms and conditions and in continuing to use the Site, you signify your acceptance of the House Swap Terms and Conditions as outlined below:

RFTH House Swap Services

• RFTH is only responsible for publishing listings on the RFTH website.
• RFTH relies on the integrity and responsibility of the listing parties in providing information that is accurate.
• RFTH will verify, in some way, the legitimacy of property listings as per the Verification Service offered through the website.
• RFTH is not responsible for publishing any inaccurate or false information through the property listings and the accuracy of such information is the sole responsibility of the Owner or the person creating the listing.
• RFTH Members participating in the RFTH House Swap program take sole responsibility for any and all agreements reached through use of this site.

1. Code of Conduct for House Swap participants

1.1. As a Member of the Site you agree to:

1.1.1. provide accurate information in the Listing of your property. This includes an accurate and true representation of the property, including property details and photographic images. Any information or photographic images included in your listing but not relating specifically to your property, must be referenced as such. Omissions of relevant and pertinent information regarding property details may be considered the same as presenting an inaccurate description and may result in the removal of the Member from the site without notice or refund.

1.1.2. provide information for only one property on each Listing.

1.1.3. not use the Site or a Listing to offer other properties, not currently listed on RFTH, once contact has been made with other Members.

1.1.4. present your property in a clean and sanitary condition for your House Swap guests.

1.1.5. treat the property at which you are staying as a Guest, its contents and its owners with the utmost respect and courtesy.

1.1.6. leave the property at which you are staying as a Guest, in the same, if not, better condition than that in which you found it.

1.1.7. notify the Owner of the property at which you are staying as a Guest, of any damages, and offer to replace, repair or pay for any damages.

1.1.8. honour all obligations relative to the House Swap or rental. Changes in arrangements, including cancellation, must be agreed upon by both parties and according the details outlined in any agreements relative to the House Swap.

1.1.9. not hold RFTH responsible for any disputes or obstacles arising from personal, cultural and language differences in regards to the House Swap, or anything relating to the arrangements of such.

2. Disputes

2.1. All attempts shall be made to resolve disputes arising from or relating to the House Swap, in an amicable discussion between the parties involved. RFTH shall not become involved ins resolving disputes between House Swap participants and shall not be held responsible if the House Swap participants are unable to resolve any disputes.
